Initial Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program

Cardiovascular disorders cause a decrease in physical capacity and impaired development of daily life activities, while affecting self-esteem and psyches of patients.

The Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program offers a way to help you better understand your disease and your actual capacity for the development of activities. In addition it will help you increase your exercise tolerance and physical activity, making you more capable and independent.

Initial Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program includes the following:

  • 28 nights of hospitalization, which will include accommodation, nursing care and medical assistance, as well as three meal course
  • Specialized medical care and physiotherapy
  • Medical Interconsultation with psychology
  • Medical Interconsultation with Cardiology
  • Diagnostic tests, which includes:
  • Electrocardiogram
  • ambulatory Holter electrocardiogram
  • ergometer test
  • Doppler echocardiography
  • Chest X Rays
  • Hematocrit test
  • Hemoglobin test
  • Glycemia
  • Full Lipids
  • Poliphysiotherapy (38 sessions)

Continuation of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program

Most patients require 28 additional days of rehabilitation treatment to consolidate the progress made in the initial program. For this reason we propose a second program of continuation for those patients who can stand on their own or with the help of his companion without requiring nursing care.
